Update on Vital's Board of Directors

We are pleased to share recent changes to Vital’s Board of Directors.

Having served as a Director since 2023, Karl Frank of Bayshore Specialty Rx has retired from the Board of Directors. Karl has made significant contributions to Vital’s governance and across its operations committees and event programming. His collaborative approach and generous expertise have made a lasting impact within Vital and the broader industry community. 

Elected by the membership at the 2026 Annual General Meeting, the Board welcomes Directors Sammy Lee, Imperial Distributors Canada Inc.; Tanya Moore, Shoppers Drug Mart Inc.; and Guy Payette, Innomar Strategies (Cencora). These new Directors join Daniel Chiasson, Chair of the Board, Kohl & Frisch Limited; and Manasi Kulkarni, McKesson Canada, in guiding Vital’s governance and strategic direction.

Appointed to the Board and without vote, Observers round out the membership voice and contribute insight to Board and Committee decisions. The Board is pleased to welcome Andrew Bakhit, Bayshore Specialty Rx; Darlene Edison, Nu-Quest Distribution Inc.; Struan Keir, Apotex Inc.; and Arima Ventin, AbbVie. They join observer Peter Bromley of Andlauer Healthcare Group, appointed in 2023.
